Some historicians told that the ancient Egyptians hate the war Because There was nothing make them love it in compare with other peoples who struggled the few resources,The god gave the Egyptians the Nile river in the middle of Egypt there were Enough resources near its valley so they lived a peacefull life.However,the conditions were changed when the neighbour countries tried to invade Egypt for its great resources so the Egyptians got up to defend their country hand by hand,The farmer got to be a soldier his main aim was to achieve the victory in the wars.

The soldiers used a lot of weapons which were very modern that days like the bows,daggers,axes,swords and shields,Their clothes were short and light allowing them the soft quick movement.	The Army Weapons

During the days of the modern kingdom the Egyptians developed their army using the military carriages it was built on the idea of a small carriage which was pulled by a horse this weapon has its own massive effect spreading the soul of fight between the soldiers,That was because the carriage was very fast,So the infantry has been in the second military degree beneath the knights.The views of the war on the old Egyptian Temples' walls let us see how much was the military carriages fast and powerful and effective.

During the days of the pharaoh Third Tohotmos the conditions made the kings of Asia think about trying to invade Egypt.And the head of them was the king of the city of Kadesh in Syria.The pharaoh Third Tohotmos saw that he is in a serious situation which was threatening his kingdom so he determined the war as the best way to save it.

In the year 1479 B.C. he left the castle of Tharo with his army heading to palastine along the way beside the Mediterranean sea,And there he knew that the enemies camped with their army in the city of Mageddo in palastine.This was a diffcult point for the Egyptian army because they had to select a way of three to reach the enemies territory:
One of them was very narrow located between the mountains goes directly to Mageddo but because it was narrow the army had been able only to walk through it man by man and horse by horse.Also it seemed dangerous for the army.
While the other two ways were wider than the first but the Egyptian army had to cut a longer distance if they walked through them.

So the pharaoh collected his men and made a conversation with them to select the best way to Mageddo.All of them advised him to avoid the short way due to its dangers on his army,But the pharaoh determined to get through the short way and rode his horse and led his army in front of them through the way.

No one of the enemies predicted that the Egyptian army may take that narrow way between the mountains So there was no one watching or guarding the way.Then the Pharaoh Third Tohotmos reached the enterances of Mageddo in a short period of time.He rushed to the city in a sudden attack so the enemy was defeated and the rest of his army ran away hiding into the city and the residents of the city closed its doors to prevent the fall of it.But the Egyptian army stopped the incoming and the outgoing cargo from and to the city so the city surrendered under the Egyptian control.In this way the army of ancient Egypt saved it from a great danger.

Since The Egyptians lived in the valley of the Nile river,and since their life setteled on the banks of that river they knew how to transport on the water using light boats made of Pardy Sticks,after some progress espicially during the old kingdom they used ships made of wood either on the river or on the sea,when they used the sea they reached the eastern shores of it espicially those of Lebanon where they have been managed to bring wood from its forests.after a short period of time these wooden ships were used to transport the soldiers.

About the naval battles,the old Egyptian history hardly tells about only one battle which happened during Third Ramses kingdom in the last days of the modern Kingdom between the Egyptian navy and the navy of the residents of the Mediterranean sea which tried to make an amphibious invade for Egypt,the Egyptian navy fought them and sank their boats untill the exit of the Nile river was blocked and they were defeated and Egypt saved its union.

That makes you at least know that the ancient Egyptains realized the importance of the powerful orgnaized navy beside the powerful orgnaized and well-trained army.
